BUSY At Work, a leader in Australian Apprenticeship Support Services, is excited to be delivering its services to New South Wales. BUSY will offer comprehensive apprenticeship support throughout the state, as well as launching in Victoria and Tasmania which adds to its existing networks in Queensland and Western Australia.
With a legacy of success and a passion for empowering communities, BUSY At Work is set to launch its services for apprentices facing barriers, including First Nations people, women in male-dominated trades, people living with a disability and those entering the clean energy sector.
BUSY’s B Green program is a standout initiative, offering specialised support for apprentices and businesses in the clean energy industry. By fostering a skilled workforce, BUSY is driving New South Wales towards a sustainable, net-zero future.
In partnership with Yilabara, BUSY At Work is also committed to supporting First Nations apprentices with culturally sensitive services, ensuring that these apprentices and their employers receive the tailored support they need to thrive.
With a robust framework that includes administrative assistance, pre-assessments, continuous engagement, and the latest information on government incentives, BUSY At Work is dedicated to boosting retention and completion rates.

Soon to complete year 12 with a school-based traineeship, Dascha Harrison will seamlessly progress in the healthcare industry thanks to her determination and acquired skills.
Pursuing a Certificate III in Health Assistance Services was a natural choice for Dascha after experiencing the power of holistic care firsthand as a teenager. She knew a traineeship was the fast track to her dream career as it aligns perfectly with her long-term goal of becoming a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dascha has hit her goals throughout her qualification while also achieving in the classroom, on the sports field and in her part-time job. She’s the editor of her school’s fortnightly newsletter, represents her region in hockey and cross country and is writing a systematic review focusing on the effectiveness of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in the treatment of Anorexia nervosa in adolescents.
The sky’s the limit for Dascha and she hopes to inspire others to consider an SBAT pathway.

Libby Olrick has a bright, caring nature that makes her patients feel special – the perfect match for a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance. Working through this qualification via a school-based traineeship, Libby is already locked into her dream career.
Passionate about caring for those in need at their most vulnerable times, Libby has shored up her future with a traineeship that will see her graduate high school as an Assistant in Nursing.
Throughout her qualification, Libby has seen her communication skills thrive. “Building a rapport with patients, their families and colleagues is vital in maintaining a positive work environment and achieving patient-centred care,” she says.
Balancing the load of her traineeship alongside schoolwork, prefect and sports co-captain duties as well as a part-time job, Libby is focused on the future. She’s planning to attend university to do a Bachelor of Nursing while supporting herself through part-time work in aged care – a job that’s possible thanks to her SbAT.

Philippa Schoupp feels her goal of becoming a paramedic is in reach thanks to a school-based traineeship. As a self-professed hands-on learner, she feels a vocational pathway has helped her grasp the foundations of the career she’ll pursue after high school.
Initially not too sure whether healthcare would be the right fit for her, Philippa quickly thrived in her Certificate III in Health Services Assistance. Philippa credits her teachers and employers at the Bingara Multipurpose Service Hospital with opening her eyes to the opportunities ahead of her. Under their guidance throughout her traineeship, Philippa has been in a totally safe space to learn.
During the course of her qualification, Philippa has seen her communication, time-management and problem-solving skills blossom. But it’s the boost in self-belief that is worth its weight in gold. “Putting everything I’ve learned into play is an amazing feeling,” says Philippa. “I’ve definitely come out of my shell.”
